Trial policy

Kiln AI is an anonymous developer preview for testing an end-to-end Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare Workers, and Workers AI integration.

• POST /api/v1/chat/completions returns an OpenAI Chat Completions-compatible response and supports SSE streaming.
• POST /api/v1/responses returns an OpenAI Responses-compatible response and supports SSE streaming.
• GET /api/models lists public aliases and migration notes.

Limits

Application-level frequency and payload quotas are temporarily disabled. Traffic protection and request policies are managed separately through Cloudflare WAF.

Data and privacy

Chat is stored only in this tab’s sessionStorage so it can survive URL updates and reloads. The browser clears it when the tab closes; it is not written to long-term local storage. Requests still pass through Cloudflare infrastructure and may be subject to platform logging, abuse detection, and model policies. Do not submit passwords, tokens, sensitive personal data, trade secrets, or regulated data.

Availability

This service has no SLA. Models may be unavailable and answers may be inaccurate. Independently verify important output.

Open-source foundation

The frontend is built with Pagekiln and preserves its attribution and AGPL-3.0-or-later licensing requirements.
